When I started marketing my women’s fashion accessory brand Accented Glory, I learned that copywriting is simply a creative form of writing. Copywrite is persuasive marketing and promotional content; the written words influence and resonate with your ideal customers. Best of all, you don’t have to be a great writer, just convincing to be successful at it.

Marketing Your Expertise

Every Tuesday at 9pm EST I do a Live Audio Room in my Facebook group Digital Marketing On A Budget. Each week I share marketing tips and advice in my group for creative women entrepreneurs. Podcast Guest – I love being on podcasts! They provide an opportunity for me to share my experience as a small business owner. I also share marketing tips on how to gain brand visibility and start converting followers into customers.

Workshop Facilitator – I have hosted both in-person and online workshops. My participants get hands on experience with developing and creating a marketing plan. I also show participants have to implement and evaluate their plans.

Guest Blogger – Writing is one of my favorite things to do! I especially love writing about topics I’m knowledgeable of. Guest blogging gives me an opportunity to tap into the blog host audience and showcase my expertise.

Salisbury-Rowan Black Business Pitch Contest

The Vine Events has partnered with some amazing local black owned businesses and organizations to host a Black Business Pitch Contest! The final round of the contest is Saturday, January 18th at 2pm EST at Mission House, 120 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury NC 28144. This is a FUBU (For Us By Us) event. We have pooled our resources together to offer pitch winner both monetary and service package all provided by black owned businesses.

The community is invited to attend. Come prepared to cheer on the contestants and shop with local black vendors. Join us in sowing into our community and empowering each other!
