Wow, these months roll around fast! This month’s topic in my entrepreneurs’ Facebook group, Digital Marketing On A Budget, we’re discussing selling online. I’m doing things a little differently this month by broadcasting live in our Facebook group on Tuesdays at 9:30pm EST. During this time, I’ve been sharing advice and tips from my five years of experience, selling my handcrafted women’s fashion accessory brand, Accented Glory, online.
The first week we discussed the basic things you need to sale online.
1. A product or service.
2. A platform to sell on.
3. A way to get your product or service to customers.
The second week we discussed presentation. E-commerce is a very competitive and visual market. Because the customer can’t physically see or touch your product, it’s imperative to present your product or service with quality photos and/or graphics. Your photos should be reflective of your brand and business and allow the customer to visibly assess the value of your product/service.
The third week we discussed identifying your strategic sweet spot. It’s important to have an understanding of what separates you from your competitor and what customer needs your product meets. Your sweet spot is where both of these areas merge together!
This coming Tuesday we’re going to discuss copywriting. I’m going to share different types of written content you can create to promote your brand or small business. So, if this sounds like a topic you’re interested in learning more about, click here to join us!

For the month of April, my entrepreneur support group Digital Market On A Budget (DMOB) is hosting another group challenge! I’m equipping our members with tools that will assist them in creating a digital product. I had already decided to create an affiliates toolbox for my brand Accented Glory in April, so I challenged members to join me and create a product too! Whether it’s a look book, e-guide, how to course, or email opt-in, the possibilities are endless. I’m simply chronicling my thought process and steps I’m taking to bring the toolbox to fruition. I’m looking forward to what the end of the month hold…I LOVE seeing projects finished. Click
Closed mouths don’t get fed…Most of us are familiar with this cliche! It holds truth when it comes to sponsorship. Some entrepreneurs find it hard to ask for support. Whether it’s pride, not knowing how to, or lack of confidence, unwillingness to reach out can impact your success. The worst thing that can happen is that potential sponsors say NO, but at least one more person is aware of your brand/business!
The topic of discussion in The Vine Events’ entrepreneur Facebook support group this month is Social Media Campaigns! What’s a social media campaign? It is a marketing tool used to reach a business goal using social media platforms. Whether your focus is to drive more traffic to your website or increase brand awareness, a social media campaign is a great digital marketing tool. Click
